Mark McNairy New Amsterdam Menswear Spring 2012

Industry veteran Mark McNairy has made a career of reviving the fortunes of American heritage labels. He’s done stints at Southwick, the made-in-the-U.S.A. label now owned by Brooks Brothers, and served as design director at the preppy mecca that is J.Press (locations in the Ivy League capitals of Cambridge, New Haven, and New York City). But while an ardent love of Americana and traditional menswear is McNairy’s calling card, so, too, is strident iconoclasm. He indulges both at his namesake label, with twisted takes on classics. Mark McNairy New Amsterdam clothing is all made in New York City.
