In conjunction with Northampton’s Arts Night Out, on Friday November 9th, UNITE will host a gallery reception for local photographer, Zach Hart from 6-9pm. Refreshments will be served. Zach’s work will be on display and for sale until December 11th.

Zach Hart is an 18-year-old second semester student at Hampshire College. Until January he lived just outside of New York City in a small town called Hastings on Hudson. It was in this very town that Zach first started taking 35mm black and white photographs. Since the 11th grade he has been delving deeper and deeper into the still image by exploring different ways to incorporate drones, dreams, and unique aspects of the natural world into his work.

Don’t miss this chance to experience Arts Night Out and support local artists!

Kanye West x Pusha T – Runaway Live (VMA Video)

LESN1 Reception Recap

Last Friday September 10th LESN1 opened his exhibition of work at his first ever gallery show at UNITE.  Scores of fans stopped by to check it out.  LESN1′s art cannot be described as traditional, it is somewhere between mixed media and sculpture.  A highlight for the art patrons was the interactive piece in front of UNITE that invited everyone to “Tag” it.  Another highlight was the collaboration mural piece that LESN1 installed early last week with Bob Markey.  Throughout the night we had live beat producers Mufasa and DP3 pumping ear-splitting beats.  LESN1′s work is on display until October 4th, stop by and sneak a peak.  Photos by 4-Mat Design.
